FAQ

If you have a question, please consult our list of frequently asked questions before reaching out for assistance.

General

What currency are your prices in?

All prices on our site are listed in euro (€).

What gold do you use?

Every piece is solid 18k gold, made in-house here in Dublin. We don't plate, fill, or vermeil. We want you to wear our pieces daily.

Are your prices subject to change?

Yes. Because our pieces are priced individually based on gold weight and gemstone content, prices may be updated to reflect current gold and stone market values.

What if I need to change or cancel my order

Reach out to us as soon as possible at info@mayaandmason.com we're happy to help before your order goes into production or ships. Once a piece has entered production or shipped, we may not be able to make changes.

Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most pieces are made to order, and production takes approximately 2–3 weeks, though this can vary. Please check the individual listing for that piece's specific timeframe. If you need something for a specific date, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Will I be charged customs or import duties?

Any customs fees, import duties, or local taxes on international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.

What shipping service do you use?

DHL with tracking on all orders. Signature required on delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Full details on shipping zones and rates are on our shipping page.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes, Dublin-based clients are welcome to collect from our studio by appointment.

Sizing, Care and Repairs

Can you resize my ring after purchase?

In many cases, yes — get in touch with your order details and we'll let you know if your piece can be resized, along with any cost involved. Please note some designs, particularly those with stones set all the way around the band, may not be suitable for resizing.

How do I care for my gold jewellery?

Solid 18k gold is made to be worn, and there's no need to take it off for everyday activities, a few exceptions are activities such as weight lifting. With time, your piece may develop a soft, lived-in character, which we think is part of its charm.

How do I clean my piece at home?

A soft cloth and a little warm water with a drop of mild, non-detergent soap will do the trick for most pieces. For anything set with gemstones or pearls, avoid soaking and stick to a gentle wipe. If your piece needs a deeper clean or polish, we're always happy to do this for you in the Dublin studio.

How should I store my jewellery?

Store pieces separately. A soft pouch or lined box works well to avoid scratching, and keep chains laid flat to prevent tangling.

Can you repair my piece?

Yes. Email us a photo and a short description of the issue at info@mayaandmason.com and we'll let you know how to proceed. As every piece is made by us in-house, we're well placed to repair and restore it.
